Terms of Use

1. Service provider and scope

AREN8 is operated by Taivo Visnapuu, Estonia. AREN8 is the platform brand, not a separate legal entity. Contact: info@aren8.com; service provider details are available on the contact page. These terms cover the browser games and associated accounts, communication and competitions. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate registration information and use an email address you can access. An account with a verified email is required for official Weekly Challenge and tournament participation. A particular tournament may impose age and country restrictions. An 18+ requirement for a tournament does not make the whole platform an adults-only service.

3. Account security

Keep your sign-in details private and report suspected misuse to the contact email. Do not use another person’s account or share accounts to obtain extra competition attempts. Responsibility depends on the circumstances and applicable law; activity on an account alone does not establish fault on the account holder’s part.

4. Guest play

Supported Classic and Journey games can be tried as a guest. Restoring guest Journey progress depends on the device identifier retained in the browser; clearing browser data or changing devices may prevent recovery. The existing progress-linking feature applies when joining an account, but a guest Weekly trial does not retrospectively become an official Weekly Challenge or tournament result.

5. Games and modes

Blockfall and Colorfall offer different game modes. Objectives, controls, permitted power-ups and scoring depend on the selected game and ruleset. Journey progression and its power-ups are separate from competitive modes. Game guides explain the implemented mechanics; these terms do not authorise bypassing client or server rules.

6. Weekly Challenge and leaderboards

The official Weekly Challenge compares verified results played under that competition’s ruleset. Guest trials, where available, do not enter the official leaderboard or qualify for prizes. Ranking depends on result validity and the competition’s ordering rules, not just the score displayed by the client.

7. Score verification and replays

The server checks submitted inputs, the session and the result against the applicable engine and ruleset. A client-displayed score alone is not a verified result. An incomplete, invalid or unverified replay does not automatically entitle a player to a ranking or prize. If a result appears wrong, contact support with the attempt identifier where possible; modifying requests is not a substitute for verification.

8. Fair play

Bots, macros, automated gameplay, fabricated inputs or requests, score manipulation and bypassing restrictions are prohibited in competitions. One person must not use multiple accounts to gain extra attempts. The organiser may review suspicious results; a shared IP address alone does not establish a violation.

9. Tournaments and attempts

Each tournament page and its Official Rules specify the period, eligibility, attempt limit and any entry fee. A free tournament has no entry fee. An attempt is consumed when the server creates the game session, not when a result is submitted. Refreshing does not grant an additional free attempt. Server time determines the participation window; the relevant Official Rules explain the submission deadline for an attempt still in progress.

10. Tournament-specific conditions

Official Tournament Rules supplement these general terms, including ranking, prizes and winner contact. If provisions conflict, the specific tournament conditions and applicable law must be considered for the issue concerned. No rule excludes mandatory consumer rights or makes an unlawful provision enforceable.

11. Prizes and payment

The relevant competition conditions state the prize type, amount, recipients and payment method. Wallet mode creates an internal prize credit; manual external payment is arranged by the service provider outside the AREN8 wallet and does not credit Sparks. The payment method is agreed with the winner subject to availability and applicable law. Instant or tax-free payment is not promised. Winners and the organiser must fulfil the tax and reporting obligations that apply to them.

12. Sparks, virtual features and wallet

Sparks, cosmetics, treasure chests and Journey power-ups operate under their respective in-game rules. Sparks are not a euro wallet balance or a promise of conversion into money. The wallet records euro transactions within the system; these terms do not promise general withdrawals, deposit services or payment services not actually offered by the interface. A paid feature may be used only when enabled and its conditions are disclosed beforehand.

13. Technical interruptions and restrictions

Network, browser or service failures may prevent completion or verification. Report the problem; restoring an attempt depends on review of the evidence and the competition rules and is not automatic. Accounts, communication or competition access may be restricted to protect the service or investigate a substantiated concern. Invalidating results and disqualification must follow the applicable rules; you can request an explanation at the contact email.

14. Content and intellectual property

Game code, design and other protected materials belong to their respective rights holders. Ordinary use does not authorise unauthorised copying or distribution. You are responsible for profile and chat content you post: do not publish unlawful content, harass others or share their personal data without permission. You retain rights in your own content; the provider may process, display and moderate it as necessary to operate the service and fulfil lawful obligations.

15. Liability, privacy and changes

Uninterrupted service or flawless operation on every device cannot be guaranteed. This does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, or remove mandatory remedies. The Privacy Policy and cookie page explain personal data and cookie processing. The service and Terms of Use may change in the future. Material changes apply prospectively, and users will receive reasonable advance notice before they take effect. Where applicable law or the nature of a change requires renewed agreement, AREN8 will ask users to accept the new Terms of Use version. A change will not retrospectively remove an accrued prize entitlement or alter the rules of a completed tournament or the conditions of completed attempts.
